 In our special Monday, Wednesday and Friday book group we read The Big Red Lollipop by Rukhsana Khan. We decided to share our thoughts about the book through a video we created in Quicktime and QR codes! We loved reading and sharing this book.  It was a learning experience to voice our thoughts and opinions about the characters and the author's purpose for writing a family book like The Big Red Lollipop. Really, most of all we enjoyed reading with friends we have not shared a book with in a long time.

Welcome to a Great New Year!

   On Tuesday, August 20, we began with a wonderful, energetic "Meet the Teachers!"  Our students stopped by to say Hello, set up their desks and become familiar with our new learning community.  We a community of 19 young learners and two "seasoned" learners this school year.  Between the Welcomes, Hugs and "I am so glad you are in our class this year!"  we did take some wonderful photos.
